Viirastus Freyr Handmade Spoons For Sea Trout

Viirastus Freyr is an imitation of small sandeel designed mainly for sea trout fishing in coastal areas. Inspired by the fertility god in Scandinavian mythology, the lure is worthy of its name and, in addition to good luck, has brought fishermen a lot of catch even in the most difficult fishing conditions.

Freyr spoons feature slow and wide action – ideal for late autumn, winter and early spring fishing when water temperature is colder and fish activity is lower.

Viirastus spoons date back to 2013 and at first were used by a small group of anglers. In a few recent years they became widely popular in Estonia and caught a huge number of sea trouts.
